We're seeking enthusiastic, future development and systems engineering stars to work with the latest Microsoft tools and tech, gain exposure to the full product life-cycle, achieve professional Microsoft accreditations and make a real difference.

What will you do?

You'll spend your 3rd of university on a full-time, paid placement with us, gaining knowledge across technical areas of the business, including support, testing, quality and development - so you build up a complete understanding of the software development life-cycle and what our products do.

As you gain practical experience, can work towards Microsoft professional qualifications and use Pluralsight e-learning tools, enjoy brown bag lunch presentations and be mentored by some of the best tech brains in the business. You'll be supported and assessed by your university tutor and Infographics' mentor as you undertake your placement, and complete a project based on a topic relevant to your intership.

Tech and methods we work with

Our dev teams work within Agile/Scrum using Visual Studio, .NET, C#, SQL Server, Azure, ASP.MVC, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, Microservices architecture, Xamarin, .NET Core and Docker.

Our systems engineers work within Windows Server/Desktop, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint/Office 365, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Hyper-V, SQL Server, Load Balancing/Clustering and DevOps in Azure.

Requirements

We're looking for current university students studying computing science, or similar, on target for a 2:1 min. and looking to spend third year on a full-time, paid placement. You should have strong Highers or A Levels (or equivalent) gained in a single sitting, ideally at A/B grades, and excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

Relevant industry internship/placement experience, commercial experience or volunteering roles.
