Personnel Module - Key Functionality

FireWatch Personnel Module:

Personnel holds all key organisation, personal and employment data, and integrates with other specialist FireWatch modules so that this base information cna be shared and easily managed. Personnel holds the following individual employee data:

  • Employee details, contracts history, individual time sheets, FRS travel records, salary/grade structure and retained pay calculations, establishment/post definition, holiday and absence records, year planner view of availability and disciplinary history

Personnel also includes information and resources designed to support management functions, such as:

  • Organisation structure information – records and manages details of Districts, Stations, Watches and Posts
  • Time recording – facility to record all work patterns for operational and support staff and enable compliance with European Working Time Regulations. Supports flexi-time and integration with swipe-card time-entry systems
  • Regionalised duty planning – supports regionalised control and management of personnel availability, including view of staff qualifications and competency
  • Duty planning – single system for managing retainted, wholetime and support staff. Supports FRS-wide view of availability across Stations, Appliances, Resources, Qualifications and Skills
  • Recruitment – automatically transfers successful applicant information to personnel records, assigns competency profiles according to vacant post and current competencies. Provides re-usable workflow-driven recruitment campaign templates
  • Absence management – records and monitors sickness and 'days lost', including Bradford Factor reporting. Manages Return to Work interviews, including email reminders
  • Contract management – supports multiple contracts and their impact on pay and overlapping availability
